SSF PUC
1051 Mission Road, South San Francisco
The SSF PUC Site is a three-building residential project spanning six-acres of undeveloped former Redevelopment Agency land just south of South San Francisco’s BART Station. Following a competitive RFP process in 2018, L37, KASA and BRIDGE Housing were successfully awarded an ENRA to work with South San Francisco to entitle a master development of mixed income housing and public park amenities. L37 lead a year long community driven design process, entitling the site in early 2020 and purchasing the site in 2022.
The SSF PUC site is a multi-phase development, entitled for 800 residential units (158 units of affordable residences), a 9,000 square foot childcare facility, a 12,000 square foot market hall and 1.5 acres of new public parks and open space improvements along the Centennial Trail and Colma Creek. Along with its affordable housing partner, BRIDGE Housing, L37 is advancing the designs for Phase 1, and targeting breaking ground on horizontal and vertical construction in 2024.
