Transbay Block 9
500 Folsom Street, San Francisco
L37 Principals provided the vision and led a team in the highly competitive RFP process to become the first San Francisco Bay Area based developer to win an RFP in San Francisco’s Transbay redevelopment area. With a process managed by the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency, L37 principal Eric Tao led the design team and negotiation of the Exclusive Negotiation Agreement before turning over the remaining development to his partners at Essex, TMG Partners and BRIDGE Housing.
With 42-stories, 537 residential units, 289 below-grade parking spaces and 23% on-site affordable units, Transbay Block 9 has been a key addition to the San Francisco skyline around the Transbay Park.
